Young Frankenstein is arguably Gene Wilder’s best movie overall.  Made by Mel Brooks, Young Frankenstein showcases Wilder’s best acting combined with the genius wit of Mel Brooks’ writing.

Notable scenes:

  • The bookcase-secret-door scene with Hildy, the assistant
  • When the Frankenstein monster sings Puttin’ on the Ritz
  • When Madeline Kahn sings “I’ve found him” after Netflix-and-chill with the Frankenstein monster.
  • When Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant, Igor, admits that he used “Abby Normal’s” brain.
